Leaving for a LONG LABOR DAY WEEKEND with friends and hadta make some fat balls. These balls are packed with wholesome ingredients and each contain a little something special to them. This is a dessert EVERYONE can enjoy but especially YOU!! This healthy dessert option wont make you feel guilty if you have two three :) My tummy doesn't agree with most desserts (diary, GLUTEN, processed sugars) so I make sure to always have these on hand!

tip: melt coconut butter or nut butter and dip these gorgeous things in that. HOLY MOLY!

Want the recipe? Ok, keep reading!

Chocolate coconut balls - the coconut flakes in these bites are a bombshell of added vitamins and minerals. Shredded coconut also acts as a antioxidant, energy booster, gut health and is also easy to digest. Coconut tastes amazing too!

Chocolate hemp balls - hemp seeds are amoungst the most nutritious foods on the planet. They carry tons of fiber, protein, micronutrients and omega-3 fatty acids. They are also said to help relief joint pain so add them to your morning oat bowls or smoothies!

S & C superfood balls - these bites contain spirulina and chlorella. Two superfoods that are packed with an excellent source of vitamins A, K1, K2, B12 and iron, manganese and chromium. S & C also boosts energy, restarts your metabolism, supports a healthy immune system and can even help detoxify heavy metals we consume through drinking water.

Once you have found a good solid bite base, you can experiment by adding all the goods.

Start out with these ingredients as your base in each bite recipe

1 cups pitted dates (about 10) or 1 cup coconut flakes + 2 T coconut butter if your avoiding sugar

1/2 cup cashews (raw/unsalted)

4 T. coconut oil 1 T. brain octane

1/2 T. cacao powder

2 scoops collagen peptides

Chocolate coconut balls

1 t. vanilla extract

1/2 T. maca powder

1 t. cacao nibs

1 T. shredded coconut

Chocolate hemp balls

1 T. hemp seeds

1/2 T. maca powder

1 t. monk fruit sweetener or maple syrup

S & C cacao superfood balls

1 t. vanilla extract

1 T. chia seeds

1 T. spirulina/chlorella

1/4 cup @mrm vanilla protein

Blend all ingredients in a food processor. I like to leave some texture in them so I didn't blend it very long. Roll them in to 1 inch balls. Place in the freezer or fridge for an hour to harden a little. Keep them in an airtight container in your fridge.

Enjoy!

xx,

gl
