joel loves granola and yogurt for breakfast and we haven't found a brand that we love yet so i make my own! it's simple, easy and HEALTHY for you. knowing what you put into a dish is so satisfying and is the main reason i love cooking and making new dishes. i wouldn't say i'm a picker eater but i do know what i like and eat those foods daily!

*try to use sprouted oats - it's better for digestion and it increases many of the grains’ key nutrients, including B vitamins, vitamin C, folate, fiber, and essential amino acids often lacking in non sprouted grains

5 ingredient homemade granola

this granola goes great with yogurt, on top of smoothies and even tastes good with your favourite nut milk!

ingredients

  • sprouted oats

  • organic maple syrup

  • crushed walnuts

  • pumpkin seeds

  • sunflower seeds

  • gogi berriers or drired cranberries/raisins

  • coconut oil

  • cinnamon spice

  • cardamom spice

instructions

1. preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. mix dry ingredients in a glass baking dish and toast them in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. while the oats are toasting, combine the wet ingredients.

4. after the oats are toasted (they should be very aromatic), drizzle the honey mixture over the oats.

5. place mixture back in oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutues

6. let cool completely & store in air-tight container

enjoy

xx,
