breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and it should be yours too! there are so many benefits to eating a healthy & well balanced breakfast such as energy boost to start the day, more focus, reduced cravings throughout the day and it allows you to properly portion your meals throughout the day.

my grandma always used to tell me, "you cant go anywhere if there is no gas in the tank", and that is so TRUE. grandma, you are so smart!
making sure that you have carbs, fats, and protein on your plate is essential for totally taking over the day! now, making breakfast when you work 8-5 is not always fun. you have to get up earlier but im telling you, ITS WORTH IT. i eat a smaller breakfast because i snack throughout the day.
here are my favorites to make in the AM:
plated
protein & fats - 2 eggs & 1/2 an avocado
carbs - kale, spinach and sauteed veggies
smoothie
protein - 2 scoops vital protein collagen mix
fats - califia almond milk (or milk of choice) & 1/2 an avocado
carbs - spinach, kale, berries, organic honey (the options are endless
